Full Air Duct Inspection

Our Full Air Duct Inspection Process

STEP 1

HVAC Location Inspection: We assess where your HVAC unit is located (attic, garage, or inside the home) and examine the conditions around it to ensure optimal performance.

STEP 2

Evaporator Coil Evaluation:
We inspect the coil to identify its condition and check for any risk of condensation problems.

STEP 3

Plenum Box Evaluation: We examine both supply and return plenums to detect moisture and prevent contamination from spreading through the system.

STEP 4

Supply Duct Evaluation: We examine your supply ducts for dust accumulation and moisture to help maintain clean, efficient airflow.

STEP 5

Return Duct Evaluation: We inspect return ducts for dust, hair, and debris while checking for anything that may restrict proper airflow.

STEP 6

Airflow & Balance Evaluation:
We check for airflow restrictions and system imbalances that can impact your comfort and the quality of your indoor air.

STEP 7

Inspection Review & Homeowner Education:
We walk homeowners through our findings and provide visual documentation for full transparency.

Our Story

Supreme Air isn’t your typical air duct cleaning company. We’re built on transparency, integrity, and professional standards to elevate an industry where services are too often performed without fully identifying the root cause. True indoor air quality problems don’t begin in the vents — they originate within the HVAC system and the attic environment. That’s why our approach starts with a complete system understanding before we recommend any solution.

HVAC System & Attic Insulation Inspection

When your HVAC system is in the attic, the insulation and ventilation up there matter more than most people realize. They directly affect how much heat the system is exposed to, how much condensation forms on the coil, and how well the system holds up over time. If the attic conditions aren’t right, the equipment has to work harder, and that can impact your comfort and indoor air quality.

Attic insulation also doesn’t last forever. It naturally settles and loses effectiveness as the years go by. In a lot of Texas homes, insulation that was installed 10–15 years ago just isn’t enough anymore. Current Texas recommendations usually call for around 14 inches of attic insulation (depending on the type) to properly support HVAC efficiency and overall performance.

Inspection Cost & Pricing Transparency

After we complete a full air duct inspection, the inspection fee is $98. This covers a thorough on-site evaluation, clear documentation, and a professional review of your entire system.

If you choose to move forward with any of the recommended cleaning or services, that $98 is fully credited toward the work once the service starts, so you’re not paying extra for the inspection. It simply goes toward your service total.

Final service pricing is provided after the inspection and depends on your system’s condition, layout, and accessibility. Some of the factors we look at include:

This condition based pricing means the recommendations and cost are based on what your system actually needs, not some one size fits all package. We always inspect first so you understand what is going on with your system and know the real pricing before any work begins.
